Mr. Corwin, the principal of the firm, is a graduate of the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA).  He received both a Chancellor's Scholarship and Alumni Scholarship, was a member of the Dean's Honor List, Phi Alpha Theta, the International History Honors Society and graduated from UCLA with Departmental Honors in History in 1985.

Mr. Corwin attended Southwestern University School of Law, where he was invited to Join Law Review, a member of the Dean's Honor List, on the National Dean's List, a member of Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity and served as a Delegate to its Biennial National Convention.  Mr. Corwin received the American Jurisprudence Book Award in Civil Procedure which is awarded to the student with the most outstanding record in Civil Procedure.  Mr. Corwin ranked in the top 5% of his class and transferred to the University of Southern California (USC) School of Law where he completed his legal education, received his Juris Doctorate and graduated in 1990.

Mr. Corwin was born and raised in Los Angeles and resides with his wife and son in Pacific Palisades.
