Over $5 Million Recently Recovered
for Two Clients
Our firm recovered
over $5,000,000 for two of our
clients in 2009.
The
first involved a 46 year old construction
worker who was a passenger on
a bus, injured in a rollover accident,
sustaining a fractured neck. The
client made a good medical recovery
after neck surgery but was disabled
from work. $2,782,954 was obtained
for this client.
The
second involved a 31 year old
Los Angeles County Police Officer
who was injured while riding his
motorcycle on the way into work,
sustaining a torn right ACL, low
back disc and nerve injury. The
client was unable to return to
work as a police officer but could
work in a sedentary desk job.
$2,300,000 was obtained for this
client.

Scott Corwin reelected to CAOC and CAALA
Board of Governors for 2010
Mr. Corwin was reelected
to the Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC)
Board of Governors for his fourth consecutive
term. He was also reelected to the Consumer
Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA)
Board of Governors for his sixth consecutive
term. CAOC and CAALA are the statewide
and southern California organizations of attorneys,
with a combined membership of over 5,000 who
represent injured consumers who are victims
of negligence and intentional conduct by corporate
and individual wrongdoers.

Presidential Award at 2008 annual
dinner
Mr. Corwin was honored
for his outstanding contributions to the
Consumer Attorneys Association of Los
Angeles (CAALA) at its 59th Annual
Installation & Award Dinner on January
19,
2008 with a CAALA Presidential Award.
This is an unprecedented third year in a row that Mr.
Corwin has received the CAALA Presidential Award.
