An accident that involved four vehicles in Woodland Hills claimed three lives and left numerous other people injured recently. The wreck was so bad that Ventura Boulevard needed to be shut down in both directions. Authorities are investigating the crash scene and few other details have been provided. What is known is that one of the vehicles caught fire and people near the crash used fire extinguishers and buckets of water to put it out. Two people were trapped in the engulfed vehicle.

Eight people were involved in the crash, and three of them were killed. Two others were listed in serious condition and were hospitalized; the remaining three people refused medical attention.

Fatal car accidents like this are obviously devastating. No one wants to think about legal action if their family has been affected by a fatal motor vehicle accident. But sometimes, legal action is the best way to get justice.

For those considering a wrongful death lawsuit against a negligent driver, it is important to wait and see what the police report reveals about the accident. If the police report reveals conclusive evidence that another driver was negligent or reckless, then that greatly helps your cause.

It will be interesting to see what is revealed about this Woodland Hills accident. Was someone asleep at the wheel? Was someone drunk or distracted by a cellphone? Was someone speeding or making an illegal driver maneuver? Until clear answers are provided by the police, this will simply be a tragic accident.
